Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match...

Kristen and Rich's paths first crossed thanks to their amazing sisters, Katie and Luann. Both friends at Georgetown University, Katie and Luann decided it would be fun to set up their siblings in hopes that they would find prom dates. Little did they know, Kristen and Rich would find so much more! After a few months talking on AOL instant messenger (Rich would only go online to talk to Kristen), they finally met in person on January 27th, 2007. They had an instant connection - they spent their first date at the movies followed by a delicious dinner at Macaroni Grill. When the night ended, they both left knowing they had found something really special... 

Over the course of their decade together, they have experienced so much, including five years of long distance between Boston and Washington, D.C. while they both attended different universities. No matter how far apart they were, they never lost sight of how much they loved each other. When they finally graduated and made their way back to Long Island, they made the most of the new time they had meeting up in New York City and seeing each other every weekend. They ended up moving to NYC in the spring of 2016. After so much history together, they can't wait for their future as husband and wife to begin! 

Happily ever after...

On January 27th, 2017, 10 years to the day they met, Rich took Kristen to the top of the Empire State Building and proposed on the 102nd floor. This moment followed with a champagne toast at the Rainbow Room at the Top of the Rock. This night will forever be one of the greatest moments of their lives and an amazing start to their fairytale.
